How it works
Tell us about the job with the quote form, a call or a text. We come by for a site visit, Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm, then send a written, itemized quote with a timeline. No work starts until you approve it. HW Contracting is a London, Ontario renovation contractor, fully insured, with more than ten years of hands on trade experience.
Common questions
Do you supply the windows and doors or just install them?
Both. We work with local suppliers, so we can quote the units and the installation together. If you have already bought a door or windows, we will quote the installation on its own.
How long does a door or window replacement take?
Most entry door and storm door replacements are done in a day. A set of windows depends on the count and the house, and your written quote includes a timeline. Custom units are made to measure, so there is a lead time between the site visit and the install date.
Will you match my existing trim and brick?
Yes. We measure the opening, the wall depth and the existing brick mould and casing at the site visit so the new unit fits the opening and the finishing matches the rest of the house.
Can you do windows and doors as part of a bigger renovation?
Yes. A new patio door with a kitchen renovation, or new windows with a basement finish, goes on the same quote with one point of contact.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
Yes. Door, window and screen repairs and replacements for rental units, scheduled around tenants and turnovers.
